Vent

I love my aunt dearly but she really needs to mind her own business. I spoke with her last night about my plans for work this upcoming school year (I'm a teacher) and I told her that I was going to give up my class room and sub for my school district. The reason for this is because I will hopefully be moving to PA before the wedding. She proceeds to tell me that the plan I have is not any good and that I should just wait til the end of the school year to be married and then move. REALLY?! ***. I have a part time job that will cover the pay difference and to get a classroom down there I need to switch over certifications and get my name out there any way I can which would be subbing. I don't just want to up and move without some sort of sure income down there because there is loans I have to pay off from school and wedding bills and every day expenses. So I am in the process of trying to get it all taken care of. But really what is the point then of getting married it would just be the same thing I am doing now... LONG DISTANCE WITH MAYBE SEEING FH ONCE A MONTH!!!

Sorry for the vent. It's just frustrating and she doesn't seem my long term plan she just thinks I want to be in PA so I can be with FH. Which yes is what I want but I have a game plan that is for long term.

I understand where she's coming from because she's just concerned about you & your financial stability but I would probably do the same thing you're doing. Since you have a part time job also and you'll be able to make just as much money then I think it's fine. I couldn't imagine being so far apart from my FH & I know it must be really hard for you. I've come to realize that people are going to have opinions about EVERYTHING so in the end you just gotta do what's right for you.
