Does anyone elses FH dread going to your family's house for the holidays??
I just over heard him talking with his friend about how he is upset that once we are married he will have to spend some holidays over at my family's house. What is up with that? It's not like he doesn't get along with my family.
I don't think he realizes how hurtful that sounds....

hmmm... is he really close with his family? Mine was reluctant at first but he's gotten used to it and actually enjoys himself now... i think!

I don't think he meant it that way. Guys are dumb. He's probably just upset about having to split them. It is definitely hard to not spend all the holidays with your own fam. I remember when we had to go to FHs grandparents anniversary dinner on Thanksgiving I was so upset. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but say something to him if you're upset.

Although hurtful... I find most men do not like spending much time with their own families.... try not to take it personally.
