That's the beauty of motherhood - mother's always forgive/understand/support. I'm sure she won't love it but I bet she'll understand and won't say anything.

i think i would've gone about this differently but that's just me.
i probably would've said 'hey listen schmuck. you were ballsy enough to say you didn't want anything to do with this. you want to come? fine. but dont think you get an invite list.'

i would NOT feel obvligated in any way... whatsoever... on any planet.. on any day... to let him walk you down that aisle.
my 'real dad' would love to be asked. and he's not even getting invited. my stepdad IS 'my dad'. so i'm asking him.
sounds like your tight with your mom? i'd ask her. and her alone.
but i mean, if there even a small feeling like you might want him to? thats okay too.
