VENT AND OPINION

Grrr...
For the past couple of weeks FH and i have been getting on each others nerves.. I mean we have been together for 17 yrs... so we have had episodes like this before- but this time they feel different.. His new complaint is that he feels he should of had a say in the BM dresses/color..

I have involved him in EVERYTHING- but my dress and the BM dresses.. When i say EVERYTHING i mean EVERYTHING.. i just think he is being a brat now!

Am i wrong for being annoyed that he is annoyed..lol

He HATES the colors i chose for the BM dresses- i tried to explain to him that as soon as my sister tried on the dress- i loved it just the way it was and didnt want to change anything about it..

He says i didnt go with the 'seasons'

if he is that passionate about it then he should be willing to go to other stores with you and your bridemaid and try on more dresses and give positive feedback and opinions proactively instead of just saying at home he like or dislikes... . see what he says to that ... if he agrees then you should doubt his sexulatity .. jk

What color did he choose? I ran the colors by FH, but he really didnt care about that. Hopefully your FH will get over it if you keep telling him how much you love the colors.

except my FH would actually DO THIS!! He doesn't care about my BM dresses but he would prob come to stores and give opinions :

on the other hand maybe not - he likes watching me trying on dresses and giving opinions but I guess that's different.

edited to actually answer your question. . just tell him to bud out. . that you love his opinion and then play this for him . . . it's about wedding dresses not bm dresses but still funny. . couldnt find the whole clip.

not your day - comedy

Re: VENT AND OPINION

U girls are funny..

Well i ordered my dress and the BM dresses the day after we booked leonards on 1/4..

The BM dresses are 3 toned= Strapless top is Taupe, Skirt is espresso and sash is Mocha..something like that..lol

And my Mom ordered her dress the same day too- and its also in the taupe family..

I know its May- but are there really any rules set in stone about what colors to choose..lol
Like i said - i fell in love with the dress as is.. and my FSIL can re-use her daughters FL dress from her wedding which was also taupe with a brown sash/bow in the back.. so i thought everything blended in well...

this whole argument started cause i want pink family flowers and he wants orange.--- Fortunately all other vendors we hit it off great- i knew it was too good to be true..

Funny part is- My FMIL suggested he wear a suit instead of renting a tux and he is considering it and i HATE the idea- only because i have seen him in a suit a zillion times...but never in a tux...
