Vent: E-party

People are so rude! It's now 4 days until we have our e-party, and people are calling me telling me NOW they cannot make it, after they have allready RSVP'd that they will come! I mean I can understand if you had an emergency, but 'forgot to take off work' or 'I don't want to bring my date, and don't want to go alone' are not emergency's...

Could this information not have been given to me BEFORE i paid the caterer!!!

Oh that happened to me and even happened until the DAY OF the party, so yeah after i paid for them.

Dont stress it once the party starts youll forget about all of this and it wont matter

same here...like 6 people did that to us

but my party was awesome!!! haha so i didnt care that they didnt make it.

they missed out!

I know how frustrated you are. I had the same thing happen before my e-party and I was pissed, but not surprised. I'm just hoping that they don't pull the same sh*t before the wedding, but it won't surprise me.

same thing happened to us.. we had like 7 people who said they were coming that didn't show up... only 2 of them had a good reason.. i got nothing from anyone else. Besides that we were still getting RSVPs that people were coming up until 2 days before..so i totally understand how you feel...but don't worry.. you're gonna have a good time and then you won't even be thinking about it anymore!!!!

Yes, this is very annoying. People have no consideration sometimes. DO you ever notice that it is usually the same poeple that do this though? Don't stress it though, just go and have a great time.

We had about 30 people who had RSVPd and said that they were coming just not show up, no phone calls or anything....... including FH's mother.

I with ya sista! my e- party is saturday and the number went up so i upgraded to a bigger tent! Now i just got people who aren't coming ugh

oh wow i didnt know people did that! when i RSVP yes to a party I always go!!

Errr so I guess that means chances are people are not going to show up this weekend at mine! lol

I know what you mean. We had people who said they were coming and never showed up to our party! Of course we still had to pay for them!
Don't let them ruin your day! Your party will still be great!
