VENT: I am so annoyed at FBIL right now!
So, listen to this...I am so annoyed I can scream...I am so tired of FH's family treating him like a worthless piece of you know what.
FH's brother (not the FBIL I am writing about) is throwing FH a really nice bachelor party in AC...granted it might be a bit pricey. FH and FBIL invited FH's other two FBIL's (he has two sisters who are married with children as well). They understand that some people can afford it and some are a little tight on cash. My brother already explained that he couldn't go because he is a law student and doesn't have money. So, the arrangement is that people can come for only part of the time if they want, or leave early, and spend whatever they wish. FH's sister who is a year older than him has a husband who is a real cheapskate and pain. So, today, FH's brother in law sends him the following email in regards to the party:
Hi,
Please forward me the Bachelor party info. With my budget alloted for this party I want to be able to determine if I will need to stay at the Salvation Army down the street and bring my tuna fish sandwich along for dinner or eat at Taco Bell. I might even need to hitch hike all the way to AC.
Thanks
Need we remind him that for their wedding, FH rented a specific expensive tux, paid for gifts, etc, as well as going to every event of theirs (btw...they also managed to bear the rudest and most disrespectful bratty kids, wonder how that happened!)...and FH never complained, even when he was in school and had no money! FH is so upset and his whole family just writes him off. Mind you that FH is not the one planning the party, so he should not send obnoxious emails to him! I really am ready to scream! If FBIL had a problem, he could address it to FH's brother, and in a tactful manner...no one would say boo if he just said, money is tight and I can't come!
Sorry so long...I am fuming!
