Okay - so Dave's last name is Harrigan......okay, fine.
Last year when my MOH got married (best friends for 20 years), we received an invitation to David Harrington and Jessica....
Told her about it and she made a big to do about it. Last Christmas, same thing to D Harrington and J blah blah...
Told her about it again... Please realize that Dave & I have been together for 5 years now...
We JUST got a Christmas card from her and her husband...and guess what?????
D HARRINGTON AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I texted her & told her that i love the card but if we get another piece of mail for Harrington, i'm rejecting it because no one lives here with that name....
I know i'm being crazy - but COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's even that SONG - H, A, DOUBLE R, I, GAN spells Harrigan....GET IT RIGHT!!

It would annoy me too! My aunt and uncle who are also my godparents have ALWAYS spelled my name Rachael... its Rachel... They even got me a beautiful bracelet engraved RACHAEL!!! This has gone on for 22 years... I just got a Christmas card and they spelled my name RACHEL!!!!! I couldnt believe they actually got it right!!!

that is SOO annoying FH's last name is Alicea and we got so many cards saying 'Alicia' and these are people that got my wedding invitation so you would think they would LOOK AT IT!!!!

if it makes you feel any better. when fh and i first started dating...we went to his aunts house that she gave us the keys to but she wasn't there. she left a note saying ' I made food for you and Melissa' not only was my name not Melissa...but Melissa was the name of one of his ex girlfriends. totally not the same...but funny nonetheless. but ya...I'd be kinda annoyed too coz u've mentioned it... i'd wonder if she'd doing it purposely to get under your skin.

do you think there could be any reason why she would maybe be doing it on purpose? i just dont see how someone could keep making the same mistake for 5 yrs and still call themselves your friend..

The list goes on and on!
Now, FH's last name is DePaola and I keep getting things addressed as
DiPaola Depoala DePaolo
Etc, etc, etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FH and I got invited to a wedding not too long ago; mind you, FH's good friend of many years was the groom and wouldn't you know, MY last name was spelled correctly and HIS wasn't! I even made it a point to correct it on the RSVP and we gave a check too with his name spelled on it for a gift, yet even when the thank you came, his name was STILL spelled wrong, lol!!! Hopefully they'll get it right at our wedding!!!!! And by the way, you have every right to be annoyed!!!!!!
