VENT mini dress disaster!!!

soooo about a month ago I got a call saying my dress was in so i wanted to go see it for a number of reasons, so i made the appt and went today

when i got there the girl told me she couldn't find it!! we then had to wait for the manager to come in to tell us some B S story that didn't even make sense, where she claimed another bride, ordered the same dress, with a wedding before mine, and they mixed us up and called me and told me mine was in, when really it was hers!!

Meanwhile the girl I worked with before the manager got there told me the paperwork said my dress was there AKA at some point my dress WAS there, key word was and they sold it someone else figuring i still have time before my wedding....soooo why not, WHICH i really dont have a problem with, BUT WHYY DID YOU CALL ME?! and tell me my dress was there when it obviously wasn't, so i didn't have to drive AN HOUR to your salon.

Then on top of that the manager was like well lets make use of the time your here, what did you want to do, and I explained I wanted a veil and sleeves made and possibly change the neckline, she replies to me saying ' oh well we wouldn't do alterations until a few months before the wedding anyways' as if to justify that theres nothing productive I could have done here anyways so it dosent matter that my dress isnt here, HELLO i didn't ask for alterations, and im sure if I wanted to give you 500$ to make me sleeves and a veil today, you would have said no? I THINK NOT

OH.... see... my mother would have made sure I walked out of that store with a free veil. That's BS.
Are you sure your dress is still on order now that it was allegedly 'in'? LIke, now they realize your dress is not in the store, but did they reinstate the order?? MAke sure no one's wires got crossed!

YES they assured me it would be in soon, i just hope its not actually a dress someone else ordered and comes in the wrong size or color!

haha we got 10% off accessories due to my moms evil stare but well see how things goo, normally she'd make a big stink, but once they said it was still coming I am glad she didn't because then it would be awkward every time we went and its supposed to be fun!

I'd be livid and hopefully leave without cursing everyone out. I hope everything works out for you in the end.
