VENT - MOM IS DRIVING ME UP A FCUKING WALL.
So, my mother is inviting some of her co-workers to the wedding, which is fine since we are NOT inviting most of my extended family for many reasons. Anyhow, sometime between when the STDs went out and when the invites went out, her friend Betty moved and didn't tell anyone. Normal. So when we sent out the shower invites, the shower thank yous and the wedding invites, they all went to her old address.
The USPS is truly amazing. You know, she got the thank you and the the shower invite. I guess either they are psychic or she did an auto forward. But she never got the invite to the wedding, so the USPS = not perfect. When did we find out?
LAST WEEK. This woman was invited to everything else and never received the wedding invite, and never thought to ask anyone about this. When my mom told her we'd never received the RSVP, she said she never got the invitation, but didn't want to say anything in case we uninvited her.
You know, like the heathens we are??? After sending her an STD, a shower invite, a shower thank you, we decided not to invite her to the wedding? Are you SERIOUS? ***, LADY?
So she never feels bothered to mention it till then, and my mom has been driving me up the wall ever since, asking if we've sent the damn invite every single day. She JUST ASKED ME AGAIN. I said to her, 'Are you kidding me? Did you think we'd wait another three weeks to send her the invitation to our wedding that is in ONE MONTH? We sent it the DAY we found out, I told you that, PLEASE STOP ASKING ME.' I understand that my mom is trying to do right by her co-worker but seriously, leave me the fcuk alone!!! I already sent it! I did! I truly did! Why don't you ask BETTY if she got it, because if she didn't, god knows she won't feel it necessary to say anything!
I don't even want this woman to come anymore! So much trouble and not worth any of it!
