Vent!!! My FMIL is getting on my nerves.

1) She made a comment about my FFIL helping us out with $$ to buy a house. Meanwhile, they are divorced. I think she is just jealous but it really upset me that she would make comments that we should do it ourselves because they had to. She should want the best for us.

2) She is penny pinching on the rehersal dinner meanwhile we haven't asked her to contribute a dime to the wedding.

3) She also keeps bringing up the timeline on the wedding because we are having it on a Sunday so I think she doesn't want it to run too late because people work the next day. IT IS SO ANNOYING!!

I am hoping she is just going through a phase because I really do like her.

I'm sure after the stress of the wedding is over she will be much better

Weddings seems to make people act strangely sometimes. Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be fine.

my FMIL is acting sort of the same way. We've already decided where we're going to have our rehearsal dinner and when and she keeps asking if we want to have it a week earlier at her house and she will cook. we've told her several times we want to have it the same night as the rehearsal, but she just doesn't get it.

I also have divorced parents and my mom keeps harping on me to ask my dad now for the money he said he's going to give us for the wedding. She's afraid at the last minute he'll say he doesn't have it.

I understand where you're coming from and why you're annoyed. Just take a breath and relax and everything will work out fine.
