today three of fh's friends called me to say that even though they had rsvp'd back in early october....they changed tiehr mind and are bringing a date.....we go thrus to finalize our numbers....ergghhhh!

Can people do that? I mean if you don''t say +1 its not really right of them to bring a date. I think the only exception is if htey are engaged or newly married.

Some people have absolutely no idea about what goes into planning a wedding. That is so rude.!

well, we originally invited them with dates - but then they said just they were coming - apparently it has been a good month for meeting people or something though!!

at least they did it before and not showed up to the reception with a guest. that happened to me and i has sworn beforehand that if anyone did that i would tell them to leave but it didn''t happen that way! I just told the place to add another place setting and chair to his table. It worked out anyway since we had 6 no show/cancel that day (4 illness and 2 that thought the wedding was the next sunday)!

They are lucky you didnt already confirm your numbers with the hall! Its to be expected that people do things like this. Not that its right, its just what people do!
