VENT on FH........................ I am MAD !!!!

He makes me so mad...............

We were suppossed to mail the invites in March, RSVP April 12th (THIS WEEKEND)

We mailed all invites out and had 5 physical invitations left. I used up a couple of them b/c I forgot a relative here and there.
So I'm on the phone with him this morning, and I tell him we have 2 invitations left, what do you want to do with them. It's April 8th, you still have a couple of addresses you never gave me.
He says, ONLY 2? What happenned to 5? I need them. I say W T F you only had 6 months to give me your addresses, I used them b/c I needed them, not my fault you are so late. He has the NERVE to get mad at me for using them.
I freakin slave every night doing something wedding related, if he would get off his ASS and do something, maybe, just maybe he would have a CLUE as to what the hell is going on !!!!!

He has a lot of nerve to get an attitude with me, he is lucky I don't call this whole shindig OFF !!!!!

Liz, Liz, these men are clueless. They really have no idea what goes into planning a wedding. All they look forward to is the party.

If this were me, I would tell him that it is too late and these relatives are not invited. He had more than enough time to think about this.

I know, I am mean, but come on time is of the essence here.

Calm down Liz. Take some deep breathes. Unfortunately FHs have NO IDEA what goes into planning the wedding. Even if there are there helping a lot...they still don't realize. They are very lax about EVERYTHING!!!!!

I have a feeling I will be in the same boat as you, FH NEVER gives me his mothers list and I tell him when we make out the envelopes (on computer) he is going to have to write his out...not my problem

Liz he doesn't get it. Sometimes I wanna wack FH in the back of the head since he is so clueless. Where would the world be without women? With clueless men!
I would do exactly what Keisha said. He had PLENTY of time. Tough! Tell him if he wants to invite these people so much then he has to pay for the invites himself. And go pick them up and place the order.

I'm trying to calm down. I deal with all his crap, and especially his mother, this has not been a picnic, she keeps trying to give us more people.

One of her people responded NO yesterday, and I had to tell him not to tell her b/c she will try to get us to invite someone else in her place
He acted like I said the worse thing in the world.
I'm the dumb one, I shouldn't have even told him.
Anyway, I, being the wonderful person that I am, LOL, told him I refuse to order any more invitations. That I will be happy to MAKE them myself for his extras. Simple as that. He had the nerve not to like that compromise.

It's O.K Liz, relax. Rememeber that both you and Len have been through ALOT the last few weeks and he could have honestly forgotten to get the addresses. Let him vent and ignore him. It's crunch time and it will be stressful but if you let it get to you, it'll only mak you sadder Talk with him tonight and if these invites are SUPER important I would say go for cheesy. Which means, go to Hallmark and make up 2 or 3 invites on that computer screen gadget. They'll never be the wiser

Don't let it get you upset, they have NO concept of time and when and how things need to get done...

I just had the same fight with Paul this weekend.

They just dont get it. I finally said Im not going to argue with him. So I came home didnt make dinner and basically ignored him, when he asked whats up I showed him the list of things that need to be done. He actually sat down with me and pitched in.

They are DUMB

Marcella I had Paul help me stuff the invites too, it took him 15 minutes each envelope to place a seal on it. I was like dam I wish you went this slow during foreplay

I feel for you chica, my FH keeps adding in random friends from his wild youth days that we have not spoken to in years. Last night I said to him, 'you do realize that we have to PAY for these people right???' He stared back blankly. Men are clueless.
