vent: semi-spinoff to NO kids at weddings...

So we all know what a pain it is to go to a wedding where it's clearly marked on the invite, NO KIDS. [well, usually it's more subtle like, 'adult reception'] And one jerkface always seems to show up with his munchkins.....

well, i did allow kids to my wedding and it still surprised me the people who brought TODDLERS. 'kids' i get...but TODDLERS???


anyway....i thought of you ladies who are very anti-kids at the wedding last night at 'open house' for my daughter's class...we get this note from the teacher telling us when it will be and what does it say???? 'ADULTS ONLY'

guess what? there were 5 kids!!!!!! and they kept throwing toys everywhere!


why is it that grown adults can't read???? if the invite says NO KIDS, don't bring them. if it says, JUST YOUR NAME don't bring a date...no matter how much you hate going solo to a wedding, it's not YOUR wedding and you aren't paying for all those mouths you keep bringing...or the china your rowdy 3 year old throws on the floor and breaks!!!!

It's funny because the people who usually bring their kids to events like that, usually have the worst kids The rational people with their well-behaved kids leave them home.

That's b/c the parents think the rules DON'T apply to them and they raise their brats with that mentality-- UGH!
