OK, I know this week shoud be my best week of the year and all, but I'm down... Somthing is really bothering me.... Our neighbor (who I like & she's great, she loves our puppy & ask to take him on walks all the time)... Was in our apt. Throwing the ball w/ out puppy & he droped it in her lap (like he does w/ everyone), yet her legs were open so the ball fell in her crotch, and she drew attention to it, She & my FH laughed about, while I just shot a look... Then she continued to talk about her crotch for a few minutes. I let it go, so I thought but it still bothers me, I felt disrespected, & angry. I brought it up to FH this morning & now we're not speaking . I told him that if he can't see how she made me feel then I have to think about things & re-evaluate everything. He told, me to relax b/c she has a BF & he's moving in next week.
My anger & pain goes beyond this, like he doesn't have my back... Why defend her to fight w. me?
I'm so angry & hurt , ugh cranky too, I need a nap

I would be upset too! I would definately talk to fh about everything...make sure he knows you were bothered by it..then i would just let it go..he's marrying you!! its not worth a big argument over

I tried, letting it go, but it bothered me still this morning that he asked what was wrong, I told him & now we're not speaking

i am not making judgement here but i am kinda confused. He threw the ball at her and it landed on her crotch both of them laughed about it but you didn't. Then she talked about her privates.. in what way? Was it in a light hearted quick comment or a lengthy description of something particular?
I mean if she is the type of person like me i make off comments many times. this is why i don't have female friends because typically i offend most people with my 'gross' humor. Maybe she didn't realize it would offend you? Or was it that your fh initiated something that he knows would upset you.
If she was talking in great detail about her her privates and sex and the ball or FH was talking in detail with her and there was a awkwardness about it then okay i can see your point. I know right away when you can't say certain things to certain people and adjust my personality/convo.
No matter what Fh should talk to you about it though because it upset you and for him to think of what he did. If its really upsetting you then it is important.

I can understand being upset that he's not taking your side.... but I don't think you should look too far into it!
Have a conversation with him about being on your side, whether you're right or wrong (as he should be!)... but I wouldn't bring up the neighbor.

I already brought it up, and now we're not speaking and she went in to detail about her kootch (sp?) and how all the men even men-dogs want it ,

hmmmmm....how old is this neighbor? Around your age? Do you think that maybe she is hitting on your FH? Is that what this is about? Or are you upset because she has gross humor? I would understand if you were concerned about her making the direct comment to fh, but since you were right there then I wouldnt be concerned.
Although I dont think she meant any harm, she probably just feels very comfortable with you guys.
It sounds like you and fh will be laughing about this moment in a few weeks. Like 'remember the time when you got mad because our neighbor was talking about her coochie coo?' I think you will both get over this fast!!

Just my opinion... Its not worth it to fight over your neighbor... Maybe you felt uncomfortable by what she said and maybe she shouldnt have said it but that has nothing to do wiht your fh.... unless there are issues that go beyond this I wouldnt think that you need to reevaluate anything... Guys tend to have a more lax and gross sense of humor and maybe from his point thats all it was... Having said that if he saw how much it upset you he should have been a little more sensitive into what made you feel that way. In the long run as long as he didnt make the comments I wouldnt let it bother me too much..... hope this helps...

Ok, FH just called to apoligize b/c I was upset... even tho, he didnt do anything. She & her BF are our neighbors & that's it, we're lucky she loves the pup to take him for walks, yada yada...I shouldn't let somthing she said 4 days ago bother me, he loves me etc... Even tho, her comment bothers me, FH was like, get over itm I love you & we're getting married,

I'm glad that you guys moved past this.... we all have petty little arguments over nothing all the time, I bet your neighbor made the comments because she just felt uncomfortable/embarassed about the 'ball in croch' incident. Animals and crotches make for an uncomfortable situation!

Before reading anyone elses responses I almost went bezerk reading what happened to you. But after I went on a verbal/written rampage I then decided to look at how everyone else responded.
So it is fixed between the two of you correct? I have two girls in Zepps life...that I have been disrespected around (before we were engaged). I usually tolerated it but if she was talking about her crotch (never happened) I wouldn't know what to do.
Anyway I am happy that the situation is fixed. And hey if she brings it up again just give her the nickname FIRE CROTCH and let her figure out the rest.

Wow...how strange!!! I think it is borderline inappropriate to talk about things like that...Sorry your FH doesnt see things the way that you do. My FH would probably say I was overreacting!!
