so FH's cousin who is in our BP just got engaged Saturday and guess what? They already have everything picked out in terms of when and where!
May 2010!!!! 1 whole flippin month before us AND in PA! So I'm only assuming but i feel they're gonna do Memorial Weekend which is 2 weeks before our wedding. How does his HM fit in (not sure if they're taking right after or later though), FH's bachelor party, etc, etc, FH is assuming he's in the BP so it's $$$$$$$ we don't have on top of the traveling, the gift, etc, etc.
And to top it all off, FH's family is ALL oot so they have to fly up here twice within a short time period

sorry if i sound spoiled or what not and no i don't feel they stole our thunder either BUT i honestly took into consideration everyones bdays, anniversarys, etc, etc when i was planning

that is really frustrating i would definitly talk to them and bring up points like honeymoon, out of town guests having to basically choose which wedding to go to (if money is tight), and having to do stuff with you guys for your wedding.....maybe they will realize it was a bad idea on there own......

my wedding is a month before one of my BMs. and FH and I are in her BP, so i know that is going to be a busy month....
FH and I have already talked about when to take our HM. We may just do a mini-moon then take a longer trip after her wedding.
i would just talk to them to make sure they will be around for you guys too.

I think that it's messed up of them because you guys have alot of oot'ers and they are being asked to come up twice within a short period now. That's not right. It's weird but if it were me part of me would want it to be the week before my wedding so at least they could stay a whole week but 2 weeks is too long. Thats really really inconsiderate. Esp. since he's in ur bridal party!!!!

awww i missed you girl thanks lol.
FH really needs to talk to his cousin ASAP! As a matter of fact, i'm going to force this phonecall tonight haha.
and like i said before, it's such an inconvenience. that's why it's bothering me. i seriously thoguht of EVERY scenario...bdays, fathers, day, etc, etc.
if they were just getting married before us, hey more power to them! i would if i could. but being in the bridall party and all of FH's family travelling is really irking me!!!

That's crap. I'd be aggravated. I'd be pizzed.... Here's why:
1. FHs cousin is in your BRIDAL PARTY. Show some respect for your FAMILY. It's not like you're secretly eloping, they KNOW the date.
2. If their wedding is Memorial Day weekend (like you think) people are more apt to take the three day weekend to travel then not, leaving you with OOT guests who will give their congratulations and all to you at the OTHER WEDDING, and possibly not travel twice, since they were just here.
If they haven't booked, convince them to change it....by explaining how inconvenient will be for their guests, who are already committed to coming to your wedding... AND get those STDs out, pronto.
So sorry this is happening!!! but it'll all work out for you, I know it!

What is with people?!? Are they just crazy or attentions starved? LOL. Seriously. It really isn't fair to you or his family. It happened to my friend and her cousin totally missed her wedding b/c of their HM. Same situation. My friend had to take back seat and to be honest...they don't speak anymore...partly b/c of that, but this girl was in competition with my friend since they were kids. So strange. Where's the love?

I completely understand..my FH and I have a wedding 2 weeks after ours and in FL and somehow we have to figure out how to go on a honeymoon and go to the wedding at the same time and pay for our wedding too..
