vent vent vent vent vent!!! Arghhhhhhhhhh

so FH's cousin who is in our BP just got engaged Saturday and guess what? They already have everything picked out in terms of when and where!

May 2010!!!! 1 whole flippin month before us AND in PA! So I'm only assuming but i feel they're gonna do Memorial Weekend which is 2 weeks before our wedding. How does his HM fit in (not sure if they're taking right after or later though), FH's bachelor party, etc, etc, FH is assuming he's in the BP so it's $$$$$$$ we don't have on top of the traveling, the gift, etc, etc.

And to top it all off, FH's family is ALL oot so they have to fly up here twice within a short time period

*** is he thinking?????????

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR sorry to had let some steam off

sorry if i sound spoiled or what not and no i don't feel they stole our thunder either BUT i honestly took into consideration everyones bdays, anniversarys, etc, etc when i was planning

wow that was really inconsiderate, how is he supposed to be in your wedding now, he'll prob be on his hm!!! i mean if it was a month AT LEAST before that woul dmade things much better, especially for your OOT guests, sorry that stinks

did they officially book though? if not i would talk to him about it

Part of me never really understand the big deal with a family members wedding around ur time. but thats just me and maybe it's because i'm not and wouldn't be in that situation.

BUT!!!!!!!

I think that it's messed up of them because you guys have alot of oot'ers and they are being asked to come up twice within a short period now. That's not right. It's weird but if it were me part of me would want it to be the week before my wedding so at least they could stay a whole week but 2 weeks is too long. Thats really really inconsiderate. Esp. since he's in ur bridal party!!!!

WOW that's just wrong, especially if he is in the BP. I think they should space it out a little better between the weddings/HM. Thats alot to be putting on family

Thats so inconsiderate. Do you think maybe he can talk to his cousin about it? Or is that out of the question? It must be soo frustrating!

i think that is really rude of them because of the guests now having to travel twice in a short period....why couldnt they do it earlier/later....

That is totally ridiculous. We have good friends who just got engaged recently. And they told us they're planning for 2011. No one wants to steal anyone else's thunder and I think that is just the right thing to do. How could they do it 2 weeks before you???? That is ridiculous. I would have FH talk to his cousin for sure.

I HATE when people do this to those close with them!! NOT saying that people should revolve their weddings around us, but c'mon!! ONE MONTH BEFORE?? Vent away girl! I'd be pizzed!! FH's bro got engaged six months after us and his fiance tolde me 'don't worry, we won't do it around your time'. I thought that that was considerate.

That's really effed up...now all the OOT's are going to have to choose which wedding to go to or spend a FORTUNE that nobody these days has on going to both!!!

Your FH should really talk to his cousin, esp if they haven't booked yet...since on top of all this there's no way he can have his wedding then and be a GM!!

That is crazy.... My cousins got engaged five months before me and one is getting married in June and the other this September. That is why we waited. I definitely wanted September and wouldn't even think about having it this year!!!!

I agree, if they didn't book anything I would see if FH can speak with his cousin...
