WHY don't companies realize that not all women are a size 2!!! How am I supposed to picture what my bridal party will look like if all the girls in mags and on the web are all sticks!!!?????
My bridal party is 5 girls all of different sizes, skin tones, and height. How the hell do manufactures expect us to visualize there dresses on other people when the model looks like she hasn't eaten in weeks!! Most of the dresses that I have seen are also just for skinny waifs!!!

What I love is that the models are in a size 2...but the dress samples in the stores are a size 12. What happens to all of us in-betweeners????

I went to the store with my sister and we picked out about 40-50 dresses...and she tried them on...thats really the only way I could decide

I am annoyed too. Some dresses I have seen I love but how will it look on a big boob girl? Three of my girls have big boobies. Not one of them is a pancake like most models in the pics.

I'm angry at dress makers too. I have 2 pancakes (My sisters) and 3 big boobed girls (1 my other sis and 2 my friends) I also hate the fact that there is only one sample size in the store. How hard is it to order a few sizes so that all women can try the dress on in the store. !!
Sorry I'm on a role today it just gets me so angry!! Grrrrr

What bothers me is that the few pictures of plus sized bridesmaids that I have seen are all modeling the same sort of dress, as if a short sleeved empire waist is the only thing that will look good on them. If that's truly the case, I'm in trouble.

I hate it when they order the dress so much bigger, that they have to alter the dress so much that they screw it up!!!!! I had so many dresses made smaller on top and in the waist that were all crooked and buckling! I can't wear them again if I wanted to. If they ordered my size, I wouldn't even need the alterations. It is always a big argument in the fitting room.
They do that so they have to alter your dress, and pay them more$$$

Thats such crap! Two of my girls had to pay an extra 50-60 bucks because they ordered plus sizes. How much bigger could the dress possibly be from a size 12 to 14?!

First of all, i argue with the stores on the BM dresses, the last three wedding parties i was in, i signed off on the dress size for the BM dress. I also signed off on my wedding gown. I am a size 12 in the sample dresses, they want to order me 14 or 16. I have no prob opening my mouth now, then i need no alterations at all

People who make these dresses model them on a size 2 as to give you the illusion that everyone will look that good in the dress. In the real world this just doesn't happen. I hate being FAT!
