Venting!

Is it just me or are all other 08ers really anxious to get married?!!? I want to party! I know we're doing the right thing by waiting but now I'm starting to wonder..and I'm doing the whole evil second guessing myself and all my decisions thus far (except for my reception hall..i NEVER get tired of going there to look at it!). If any brides on the other boards are reading this and have experienced this...how did you cope? I feel like I'm going stir crazy! Maybe I should get myself a hobby, other than being obsessed with LIW!

being anxious is normal. everytime i see a wedding on t.v. or hear about someone's day on these boards or theknot boards....i get just a teeny bit jealous cause i want my day to come too. (I'm feb. '07) so it's normal to be a bit anxious. 2nd guessing happens to...but don't let it bring you down or make you crazy. when wedding plans are in full swing - you'll wish for the days when you were just dying to start it all. think of it this way, it gives you sooo much time to figure out cool things you want to do. not to mention you can have all the time in the world to research things and get the best price. (i already ordered imprinted beverage napkins for mine, and save-the-date magnets!)

I watch a Wedding Story on TLC and i just bawl! I keep thinking, that's going to be me in a couple of years! Everyone keeps telling me how fast its going to go, and I know they're right but I just can't help myself. I'm already kind of ahead of schedule in terms of my wedding. I have the hall, going to book my photography probably next week, heck I even have my dress! (crazy..I know). All these good ideas you girls give me...I'm going to have a wedding that looks like its straight out of a magazine! Martha Stewart eat my LIW dust!

I feel exactly the same way. LOL I have my hall and church booked already. I am looking now for video and photography. I want to get everything done early. I dream, eat and sleep weddings. I think I am driving my FH crazy. I tell myself everyday don't talk about it, but I can't help it. I am glad that others feel the same way and it is just not me.

I can't even book my church yet because the date is so far in advance! And I feel exactly the same way you do, I want to book early so that I don't have to worry about it PLUS I want to lock in the 2005/2006 price . I'm actually sitting here typing this eating pizza! I'm driving FH crazy with wedding stuff also, he tells me I'm obsessed with this site! He says I should go to LIW anonymous!

I agree, we're looking at 08 so we can save money, buy a house, do it right etc., it's so hard, we're looking at different places and it;s hard to say the month then when they say 06 , we say no & before we can say 08 they say 07 it's a pain but I know it'll be worth the wait..


Although I do get annoyed when people are dating for a month or 2 get engaged and plan a wedding for a few months later

fh says the same thing, I got my tshirt and he was rolling on the floor laughing when he read the congrats your addicted letter,

I was the same way but now it is only 199 dyas away... it comes quick too quick just be patient and enjoy every minute of the planning!
