So, my dress came in early and I'm going to try it on tomorrow.
I asked a few of my cousins to come along to see the dress (two of my older cousins that have been there for me the moment I got engaged and 2 of my bm's who are also my cousins).
So one of the BM's asks if her sister can come along and I just really want to say no. Because her sister never even told me congratulations when I got engaged, she didn't even tell me hello that day. We're not close and I'm like why does she want to come to see my dress when she doesn't even care.
I mean my dress is important and I only want people who care and are interested in my wedding to be there; and I don't think this cousin is. (why can't she wait to see it like everyone else)
My FH said i should just let her come and be the better person, I just hope she doesn't spend the entire time on her phone and off in her little world because then I will become a bridezilla. I don't need people like that around.
I did say she could come just not to create family drama. Am i wrong for wanting to say no?

Ehh.. let her go. Maybe it will change her tune. Perhaps seeing you in the dress will get her a little involved and somewhat excited.
And if she spends time in the corner on her cell... so be it. Let her do that... she will look bad. Just ignore her. If you say something than you risk letting yourself look bad too.
My MOH is sometimes like that. And when she came dress shopping with me.. she had this nasty face on the whole time. She even pulled out her laptop. I completely ignored her. My other BM went over to her to say something. Other people will notice this... and make-up their own opinions of her without you even having to do anything. Especially if your mother is going to be there! Is your mother going?
I say this would be a useless fight if you were to cause any drama over it. Pick your battles. I'm sure there will be plenty of other things that will be more important to stand your ground for.

Oh and who knows... maybe she will even say no. Then you really look like the bigger person because you sort of extended an invitation to her and she turned it down.
Take the high road on this one.

Yes my mother might be going. Thanks for your advise, I will just let her do her thing and I'll do my own.

Re: Venting
I know it's hard. Believe me.. I went through it with MOH. She literally looked like poop was dangling from her nose! That was the face she had the ENTIRE time! I was so annoied with her.. I had to stop looking at her! I even stopped speaking to her for a little while and went dress shopping without her once.
But I always took the high road with that one. I let her look that way. I knew it wasn't a relection on me.. and the more people that saw it for themselves without me having to say anything.. only showed how bad it was while keeping me looking innocent. KWIM?
Trust me ... there will be plenty of other things that go on that will be much more worthwhile to fight over.
