SOOOOOOO.....FH's parents are ridiculous. Can you believe that me and him have been together for 6 years and they still can't deal with the fact that we are getting married...oh yea did I mention we have a 4 month old son!! urghhh they are so frustrating..so basically they told him they were gonna pay for his side of the family, naturally my dad is paying for our family he's the best..FH was gonna handle all the vendors and HM...which is all over 10 grand as all of you know first hand...I'm not working he is the only one and his parents tell him 2 WEEKS AGO...that they arent gonna contribute at alll!!!!! I mean I just wish they would have told us sooner!! They are actually telling him not to get married...ughhh more his father....Whatever now to come up with all this money...its so stressful

its crazy I know!! I always thought it was me but its his father....he is sick like he takes meds...he doesnt think ANY GIRL is good enough for his son...he has attachment issues thinks that I'm gonna take him away...his mom likes me but she's old school listens to her husband...but she feels bad so we are gonna talk to the father tomorrow night...but the rest of his family ADORES me...not to toot my own horn but I whipped FH into shape...and everyone knows this hopefully his father will see that he isn't loosing his son...but gaining a daughter too

thats exactly what i thought while i was reading this.. idk but im sorry theyre being so ridulously difficult at least its 3 months away and then you wont have to deal wth it

Wow! that s/ucks! MY FMIL and FFIL aren't putting in anything either. But seriously, you future in laws need to get over it! Not only are you getting married, you have a baby! Its time for them to grow up and be civilized! Sorry you're going through that!

im so sorry you are going through this. dhs fam gave us a lot of trouble right before the wedding. i feel your pain. this is suppose to be a happy occasion and they are trying to ruin it. i would try your hardest not to let them bother you because thats what they want. vent anytime !
