Vent(Resturant)sorry long

Yesterday was my 30th birthday my FH took me out to one of my fave restaurants Dodici in RVC ....needless to say our experience there was terrible ....i have been there countless times and the food was always good as was the service .. everything we ordered was terrible ..keep in mind that we have been there before and the food was always good and we had ordered the same things before ...the food didnt even look like what we had ordered before ..the service s*cked our waiter was more into watching the stupid Boston game on the TV rather than ask how everything was ... half way through dinner a bunch of drunk girls were outside screaming /fighting and being loud and obnoxious right outside the french doors where we were seated ..how rude and you know the waiter and manager saw all of this and did nothing not even chased them away. after waiting almost a hour for them to come and ask us about desert ..they had nothing in stock from their desert menu ...why even show us the menu?...our waiter was a d*ck just down right rude ...i want to complain but FH said it's over just forget about it ...i will never go back there again

Dont give up on the restaurant, you said you've been there many times and had no problems. Maybe it was just one of those nights there.

that it terrible. In my former life (lol) I managed a restaurant so bad service reallllly ticks me off. When something small is wrong I usually don't make a big deal if the server handles it quickly and appropriately but in your scenario they totally were not attentive and unprepared so I would have to calmly get a manager over.

I'm so sorry that you had a terrible dinner particularly on your bday. I would suggest calling management today and telling them of your experience, if they're worth their salt they'll send you a gift card or refund your dinner if you paid on a CC.

I dont live far from there and Ive been there 3 times. 2 of the 3 times it ****** and so I will never go back.

I would also call and complain about the service and everything that happened and see what they do.. as for the food - maybe it was a diffrent chef?
Idk - or maybe they just had an off night for w/e reason.

I'd see what they do for you - if they don't do anything at all that is wrong.
