VENTTTT: Dear Best Man...

Thank you for telling my FH today that staying in the hotel the night before isnt worth it and even go as far as looking into limo/bus options for yourself and the rest of the party to and from the reception. What the fcuk makes you think you can take over my wedding plans??? Do you not remember the email I sent out to you and the entire bp telling everyone about the hotel and the price? Funny how not 1 person wrote back to me that it was a problem, but all of a sudden, its no good for you... Thank you for stirring the pot... I'm sure its your 'fiance' that convinced you out of the hotel, but we wont go there...

that makes no sense!! he needs to get over it and book a room!

is the rest of the BP ok with the room?? tell him to take a cab and meet you at the hotel with everyone else!!

I dont understand how it would be cheaper to get a limo and not a hotel room???

all the girls are okay with the room situation... no one b*tched... and i only heard from 1 guy who said he was fine with it... oh yeah, and the best man even thought it was a good idea in the beginning... all the other guys never said a word about it... i dont trust them to be on time to be honest... i need them out on LI early in the morn and everyone is pretty much coming from the bx...

oh he actually said that since theres 6 guys... that the hotel would be close to 1000 and he could get a limo for the same price... oh yeah and not to mention, steal FH for the night before so it would only be the girls in the hotel... i am fumingggg... it took all the strength in the world to not call him up and scream at him...

why dont you just run my entire wedding...

I'm assuming your wedding is super early and that's why you wanted the BP to stay in a hotel the night before. Are they also staying in a hotel the night of?
I think it would be fun! I can see if someone is having money issues.. paying for their attire, plus 2 hotel nights, and the gift. But then again... weddings cost money and unfortunately that's a part of being in the bridal party.

Does he think that if they take a limo that they will chip in for it or that you will pay for it? Typically the bride and groom pay for the limo so I'm just wondering what is going through his mind.

And I hope he didn't contact the other members of the BP in an attempt to get them on board with his idea.

What I think you should do is call him and talk to him. Don't flip out on him (although you must really want to - it just won't help in this case; so you would have to refrain).... but explain the reasoning behind having them stay in a hotel the night before. Perhaps if he understands it a little better then he will be on board with it?

yes, i need everyone dressed and at the hall at 9am to get in pics ... we were going to pay for their suits which they dont know about... no, the limo is something the guys would chip in for.... if i wanted a limo, i would have booked one.... im not wasting more $$ on something we dont need... (not mad at you lol... just venting)...

That is pretty early! You should just call and talk to him. Tell him he won't have to wake up as early since he will be coming from LI and not the bronx (also you can talk about traffic, etc). You can even tell him if everyone didn't stay in a hotel the night before then they would have to leave the bronx by at least 7 am (or earlier to scare him more). Why would they want to chip in for a limo instead of just staying at a hotel? Not like they are saving anything there. I was just hoping he wasn't 'assuming' that you were going to pay for it. Tell him that everyone else is staying in the hotel but if he can't then he can commute himself. Why rearrange your plan? And undermine you guys by going to the other BP members to get them all together for a limo. Just to suit himself or his gf? Seems selfish. Someone really should talk to him before he gets the other members of the BP in on this plan of his too!

OH PLEASE! The nerve.. sounds like he wants to do something else... I dont like that and honestly I would be livid... Tell them that the hotel block is booked already and its too late to cancel or you will lose money
