Venue

We are looking for a catering hall by the water with a reasonable price. any ideas?

There's a few, but they all have different feels to them.

I would go here: http://www.longislandcateringhalls.com/waterfront.aspx....just don't go by the prices. They might not be accurate.

On the water we visited Venetian yacht club, but they didn't fit our budget unless we did November and it would have been dark by the time we even got there so no point being on the water lol. We also visited lombardis on the sound which had great prices, just not our taste. One I definitely wanted to see so bad because it looks so amazing online is lombardis on the bay, but they hold MAX 170 and they said that's really pushing it.. It comfortably fits 140 or less with a dance floor. Good luck!

Crescent beach club, right on the water and totally beautiful! I was a guest at a wedding there, and they had the ceremony on the beach. They have wooden floors leading to the beach ceremony, so u don't have to take your shoes off. The cocktail hr had great food and the room lead out to the beach, and had a nice lounge/bar if you want to eat outside. If you saw the wolf of wallstreet, they filmed the wedding scene there.

I am biased, but Lombardi's on the Sound. Beautiful view, reasonable prices, and the food there is incredible. Lombardi's on the Bay is nice also, I just felt that the room was too small.
