Yes Sand Castle allowed me to do a food tasting before I put a deposit

I went to a wedding at sandcastle a few years ago and it was the only place I ever called after a wedding to tell them how much I love the food and service.

Venue and food tasting?

Our venue doesn't do a tasting at all you get 50% off your bill in the restaurant instead. However, FH and I only looked at places we've been to before (if we wouldn't have loved any of those we would have expanded our search)

Venue and food tasting?

Honestly, my husband and i felt that if a place wasn't willing to let us sample their food before giving them (quite a lot of money for us) a deposit, then they had something to hide. It's not necessarily true but we just weren't willing to spend all of our money to be disappointed in the food. Chateau Le Mer is where we went and they did tasting. We tried Westbury Manor, Swan Club, Coral House (all let us sample and all had great food)
