My fiance & I booked our venue for our July 2013 wedding! It was such a relief b/c going to all the different venues was exhausting! We sat down with the manager & tweeked the menu. He was very accomodating & gave us everything we wanted. I wrote down most of the changes. This was back in September when we booked the place. We were told that the updated menu with everything included was going to be emailed to us.....well we are still waiting!!! We called the manager in end of October & he said that the menu was being put together & we were going to get it. Well we still didn't get it. We want to make our 1st payment but we want to see everything in writing. Should we call again or stop in & ask? I feel like on one hand, we have plenty of time b/c it's over a year away but on the other hand, we were promised the menu. What should we do?

Re: Venue booked but...
If they promised you a menu then I would call again. I know you have time but if you want everything in writing before making a payment then I say get it now.

OMG that's funny! I live about 10 min away. I looked at a lot of venues in LI but my fiance's dad knows one of the managers in maestro's & we were able to get a good deal! BTW - if you're interested, Maestros' is having a Bridal Show this Wednesday, 1/4/12 at 6:45pm. Admission is free so let me know if you want more info so you can register for tickets.

Im already registered! Lol.. Not 100% sure if I am going but most likely will drop by sice Im so close.
I looked at Maestros when I was searching for a hall but I wanted something with more scenery for pix so we wont have to travel much. I actually had my JHS prom there! Lol

Thanks! Really? How was it? They told us they do fireworks for our entrance & a fire show by the chefs? Did you like the food? Was there enough scenery to take good photos?
We booked all the 3 rooms. Our ceremony will be downstairs, our reception will be in the room with the skylight & cocktail hr in the other room. I'm sure they will book other parties once we are done with each room and move to our reception but I'm not sure. I will def ask them!
