Venue help???

Hi girls, im new to this website and was hoping to get some help with venues. Because we are on a budget we have decided to move our wedding to January. We have a small wedding about 75-85 people and are hoping to have it on Saturday night. Any feedback on venues that are affordable would be greatly appreciated.

Swan Club, Fox Hollow, Coral House, Leonards, Crest Hollow & Westbury Manor would be around that range. You can try Riviera, Sans Souci, Stewart Manor and Thatched Cottage as well.

I know Westbury Manor and Fox Hollow have a smaller room and are much cheaper than you think for the winter months.

I think you'll find some great deals at the following venues for that time of year:
Leonards, Majestic Gardens, Sunset Harbour, Larkfield Manor, Chateau La Mer, Coral House, Swan Club, Westbury Manor

Maybe try the Riviera, a friend of mine was just married there, and it was a beautiful reception, and I believe fairly affordable. HTH

What is your budget?
like what's the total you can spend per person (including tax and tip)... I don't want to invade, but I know with us it was $83.00 and we're actually paying $92.00 and that was with a starting price of $68.00/pp we added a V. hour for $4.00/pp so we're upto $72.00/pp but with tax and tip it comes out to about $92.00 (don't ask where they get that number- that's what it came out to)

so yea.. I can give you a LOT of quotes (I have way too many to remember) for diff months for diff venues.

I was quoted 85 per person for Russo's on the Bay, which is gorgeous and has excellent food on a Friday in Jan in their smaller room. It's still my dream place to have my wedding, but I was talked out of having my wedding in that month and the room wasn't available during the Spring.

Re: Venue help???

Well my budget is around $75pp including tax and gratuity -after calling so many venues it seems like an unrealistic budget.

What about a package place? BrenwoodCC offers one, mannor east, I think the stearling and douglaston mannor may also.

this is realistic for westbury manor, douglaston manor and fox hollow according to the quotes that i got earlier this year (i was asking for feb of 2010.) don't give-up, you'll find the perfect place at the perfect price!

Re: Venue help???

The Sans Souci of Sea Cliff, has a beautiful location, they do only one wedding at a time. Not like the other factories out there. Also if food is important to you the Sans Souci is your best choice by a mile.

Good Luck

I am going to see Douglaston Manor and Smithtown Landing Country Club on Friday, wish me luck! Any feedback on these two places would be helpful.
