My sister is getting married and would really love to get married in a different type of venue. Some place like a library or an art musuem. Does anyone have any kind of suggestions? I really don't even know where to start looking so I am back on LIW because you ladies were the biggest helps for my wedding !!

I don't know about a library or museum, but if you're looking for something different, I would say take a look at 'The Gatsby Mansion'.
if you look it up, its called Nico at the Gatsby Mansion. very old world feeling and not your typical RH.

we're getting married @ Floral Terrace which is actually a 20th century movie theatre -- it even has the old movie reels in entrance hallway!! If she wants more info let me know!!

I know the Nassau County Art Museum does weddings, so does the Cradle of Aviation. I think those are pretty off the beaten track.
