So FH, my Mother and Im all really loved crest hollow but when we went to book they only had an early March date and I don't want it because there is more of a chance of snow when your closer to February. The next date they had was the first Sat. of April which is Holy Sat. and I am a catholic and NEED to be married by a Priest so that wont work. The pp prices for the Saturdays after that jump like crazy. I need a venue for a Sat. night in march with maybe a 100 person Minimum for about 100 pp after tax and gratuity. Does anyone have any opinions for me? I was hysterical last night because I really loved Crest Hollow but I can not even fathom paying 135 a head, I am not rich and FH and I are going to need all the money we can get for our futures. I have only just begun and I am considering giving up

Re: Venue Help
Would you consider doing a Friday night? I know that the rates for Friday are significantly cheaper. We were looking at a Saturday in April at Crest Hollow but ended up booking a Friday in April instead because of the price difference

Re: Venue Help
check out crestwood manor, I think it's owned by the same ppl that own the venetian.. anyway when I was looking a Sat night in the fall was 90 pp and that's with a gigantic amount of food! The place is new so everything is beautiful. I think they have a max of 150 people though.. HTH Good luck and don't stress, it will work out!!!

Are you open to Friday or Sunday? That might save you some $$ and still have it at the venue you love.

Re: Venue Help
if you are in love with your venue but don't want to book b/c of the saturday price, perhaps you can try a Friday or Sunday. I ended up going with a Friday b/c it was $20 cheaper per person b/f tax and gratuity. Every lil helps. Besides, Fridays are becoming more popular now like if it was a Saturday. I was set on having a Saturday night, but it was just way over budget for me.

Try Fox Hollow or Westbury Manor...I've heard they're reasonable with prices. HTH

Noooo, don't give up! This is the day of your dreams, and you deserve to have what you want! I was extremely close to giving up after some major hangups during the wedding process ... and then I found Smithtown Landing Country Club - I'm getting married there on a Friday night in August for under 100 pp AFTER tax and gratuity! I'm sure you will find something you love that meets your budget, if I did, anyone can!
Try to keep your head up, and let us know how it goes.
Also, have you looked into the following: Jericho Terrace Chateau LaMer Woodbury Country Club Larkfield Manor
They are all worth a shot as well ... Best of luck to you!
