Venue Help!

Hi ladies!

I need your help. I am only here on long island for a week, as I currently live in Chicago, and need to find a venue! (along with a dress, church, and everything else, but lets take one thing at a time!) :)

I will probably have around 150 people, we are looking for a saturday night(as we will have out of town guests), and would love to have it on the water or something unique or alittle different if possible.

We are looking for something in the $80-90 range per person.

I just got back from Coral House, Chatau La Mar, and Riviera. I liked Riviera, but its alittle more expensive than what we were hoping for. Does anyone have any recommendations?

It depends on what month you are looking to get married in. If it's in the Oct-March months, check out Thatched Cottage in Centerport. That's where I'm getting married and it's on the water and it's gorgeout and very reasonable!

I second swan club...but as far as a sat night in july I think that may be hard for any venue to meet that price. That's the peak night during peak year. You may have to change to a day wedding, or fri night wedding, or not peak season to get that pricing per person

I am so happy with Crest Hollow Country Club! The grounds and rooms are beautiful. My banquet manager is Eric--he is absolutely amazing! Even though it's a business (just like every other place) I never felt like I was getting a sales pitch.
