Venue Help!

My sister is very unhappy with the venue she booked for her November 2nd wedding. Poor management, poor communication, false promises, etc.

SHe would like to start looking for another venue ASAP if she can get out of her contract.

Her budget is around 105pp++. Can you please throw some recomendations out there?? Thanks!

EDIT: They are hosting around 130 people.

I would tell her to check out any of the lessings places! They have such great deals!!! Within her pricepoint AND her guest list!

I know the Mansion at Timber Point was right at that price range for the same amount of people.

Venue Help!

I booked my November wedding in February and I will tell you November 2 was not available at any of the places I looked at. If she is willing to change the date, I would recommend Swan Club, Chateau La Mer, Venetian Yacht Club, East Wind, Bellport Country Club, Jericho Terrace, or Giorgio's (only had 2 dates available when I looked). They were all in this price range, but I think since the time changes after the first weekend in November this year, the 1st and 2nd got snatched up fast. The closer to Thanksgiving you go, the more availability you will find. Hope this helps!

if you are set on the date i would just call everywhere and get prices and availability then come on here for recc's prior to visiting?
less legwork!
and lessings usually has it on their website, i think?
