I got engaged last August and I am ready to pick out a venue. I've been sitting on the computer for hours looking at everything and it is so overwhelming. Unfortunately, it is hard for me to save up money because I am paying off student loans, bills, rent etc. My FH and I have to pay for everything ourselves because our parents are unemployed/financially struggling. I was wondering if anyone can tell me which venues are affordable and have inclusive packages? If anyone has any quotes that they could share it would be very helpful. I reached out to about 4 venues to book an appointment to check everything out but it would be easier if I could see if it was in my budget before wasting my time. Thank you!! My dream is to have an October wedding but I am willing to check out any other time of year if it is more affordable.

Venue help!! - Long Island Weddings
I emailed and called a ton of places before visiting to see if they were in my price range.. FH and I are in the same situation as you and didn't want to fall in love with someplace we couldn't afford. We booked January because we love winter but also because it's one of the cheapest months of the year. There's a thread somewhere of all inclusive options which is a good resource and way to save $$. A good amount of the Lessings venues were on the less expensive side as was the Riviera in Massapequa, East Wind has a nice all inclusive package and of course I'll suggest looking into the Watermill! They worked with my budget andddd threw stuff in. :) good luck on your search! Enjoy it, the venue search was my favorite part so far!

Totally understand where you're coming from. April-October is considered prime season so you will pay extra. January is the cheapest month. We originally wanted October until we were shown the price drop to go into November which is what we did we chose the first weekend in November. Fridays and Sundays are cheaper then Saturday nights. And afternoons are cheaper as well. The Lessings venues are very affordable. Some of them are all inclusive. There is one main line to call its on their website, ask to speak to Miriam she will give you quotes over the phone and you can set up where you want to look..... Watermill is reasonable in the winter and east wind does all inclusives too. I only have quotes for timber point which is a Lessings venue not all inclusive. I was give. The prices last summer. Let me know if you want me to message them to you
* the only Lessings venue that is very expensive is the Bourne mansion

I highly recommend doing all inclusive venues! They r usually 100 people for around 10k.you get dj, photo, video, limo and centerpieces!!!
Some r just winter dates (nov, dec, jan, feb march) others like might sane price for any time if year!! Fri vs sat vs sun is a little different!!
Here is the list of all the all inclusive venues......click here
Of you have any questions please feel free to ask! Happy t to help

I think all-inclusives are probably your best bet if you really want October (especially since it's a peak month for weddings). But if you're willing to look at other times of the year too, Sunset Harbour in Patchogue is well under the average per person price. Speak to Andy.
Also keep in mind that a Sunday (or Friday) wedding can save you a lot as opposed to a Saturday night. With that said, it might help to consider having your wedding on the Sunday of a 3-day weekend. It won't feel like a work night for people and you can save considerably.
Good luck with your search!

Thank you all for your responses!! They were very helpful! I am going to set an appointment for East Winds. I also inquired about Three Village Inn (lessings) but it might be a little too much for me. I am going to check for the off season months and consider an afternoon wedding on a Saturday. I hate to be so cheap but I want to marry him but have enough money to put a down payment on a house! I am going to check out Mediterranean Manor and Giorgios as well. And Amanda, I would appreciate if you could message me the quote because it will give me an idea! Thanks!

Sent you FM ... I checked out Mediterranean manor. They were very nice and offered all inclusive. Two things I didn't like- It wasn't one wedding/event at a time and I felt it was a little outdated and you have to pay extra if you want to use their new outdoor space for cocktail hour or even pictures

Miller place inn, they offer all inclusive, there so affordable, one wedding at a time and there pretty flexible and don't charge more for different nights or months so you can chose the month you'd always hoped for without having to settle just to bring down price
