So excited! So I began my wedding search, and I drove my siblings crazy this week. We narrowed down our search and went to 6 venues: Jericho Terrace, Terrace on the Park, Chateau Briand, Chateau La Mer, Swan Club and Riviera Massappequa. All have their benefits, now who do I choose It's all becoming a blur now. I haven't even started on florists or djs. What's a girl to do.
FM if you want pricing, and minute details

Re: Venue Search
I can't speak for the other places (i'm sure they are all lovely), but I love Terrace on the Park.

Re: Venue Search
I've actually never been to a wedding at any of those locations, but I just wanted to say good luck! I swear it gets easier once you have your date/reception hall picked out!!

Re: Venue Search
u should write a list of pros and cons for each venue (prices, what type of things r included in package -ice sculture, cake upgrades, flowers-, locations, benefits of having ur wedding at a specific time in the yr in that specific venue, etc). Narrow them down to 2 or 3, and then go for food tasting. That's the way we did it. We saw 8 venues, using our pros and cons list we chose 2: Chateau La Mer and Chateau Briand (I remember calling it The Battle of the Chateaus lol! we then scheduled food tasting and that helped us a lot choosing the place we ended up getting.
