Venue Searching
We are finally going to start venue searching! These are the places I am interested in. I'd like any reviews anyone may have on them (especially regarding food). I really would like waterfront, though I know one or two places on here are not. I'd change my vision if the place took my breath away.Chateau La Mer
Venetian Yacht Club (I know they were hit hard with the storm)
Lands End
Cresent Beach Club
Waters Edge
Marina Del Rey
North Ritz
Captain Bills
Bridgeview Yacht Club (I know they were hit hard with the storm)
Thanks for all your help!
*update- we liked Chateau La Mer we are going for a food tasting. also checked out captain bills but did not like the cocktail hour set up, having guests walk through reception room before reception started. hoping to check out lands end, venetian yacht club & cresent beach club right after new years!

I've been to two weddings at bridgeview both were beautiful. Lov how it's one event at a time. The decor was classy love the high draped ceiling and the food was very, very good too. We viewed vyc when we were searching and it was also pretty, I just wanted a place that was one event at a time and we didn't mesh well with the BM. North Ritz was also nice, one event at a time, very pretty but I petsonally did not like the indoor ceremony room which we would've used if it rained so we didn't go with it.

We went to a wedding at Captain Bill's and it was beautiful, the food was so good. I don't know how many people you are planning on having but the wedding we went to had 150 people and I felt like the room was way too BIG for that many people. We just felt very spaced out and there were some big empty open areas, but that is a minor observation, it really was nice.I loved Land's End, again a really big space but beautiful! Went their for New Year's Eve last year and will probably go again this year. Great food and really good bartenders.

CLM has INSANELY good food! I went to a tasting there and I was even eating stuff I normally don't like, like red meat. It's also cool there because you're announced in on a yacht! Honestly, pretty much the only reason we ruled it out was because I really wanted a place that does one event at a time.

Marina del Rey was at the top of our list--we just have so many coming from far out east that it would be a little inconvenient. We went to a wedding there and were BLOWN AWAY!

Went to a wedding at Bridgeview Yacht Club in June. It was very nice but there was a delay with something and we weren't served dinner until 11 PM!! The wedding was at 6. People were beyond annoyed and didn't even eat at that point so full plates were being sent back to the kitchen. This could have been specific to this wedding, I am not sure. The room and the view were pretty though!

Crashing! I got married at Land's End in July and it was fantastic. Every detail was orchestrated perfectly. Their food is great, nothing like typical wedding food. They even created a station for the cocktail hour for us to match my husband's culture. They brought in a chief from another location specifically to do this! I can't say enough great things about them. My wedding day was perfect!
