So we are in the midst of checking out places, and have narrowed our choices down to Fox Hollow and East Wind. I was wondering if anyone had feedback on either or both places. Help! :)

Hey Ladies,

Even though im being biased lol i say fox hollow. You cant go wrong. Its beautiful romantic, all the rooms are gorgeous, food is delicious, service is great and the inn is right next door for guests to walk over and stay. So convenient. What room are you thinking about booking there?

Re: Venue Showdown
Ha-ha thanks! We are seeing it this weekend for the first time. But either the Garden Terrace, or the Somerly, depending on pricing and number of people needed for each room. I am going to have about 130-150 people. We want a Saturday in October 2013. hopefully everything works out! What room are you having your wedding in? Was pricing reasonable?

I would say Fox Hollow....you may also want to consider the location of where the majority of your guest would be traveling from...

Re: Venue Showdown
I got married at East Wind. i loved it! The food was great, the staff was great and I had no problems. I dont know what room you looking at in East Wind but I was in the Veranda room. It was great being able to go to my room after the wedding, change and then going to hang out in the bar afterwards.
Let me know if you have any questions!

That's awesome! We looked at the Veranda room, it's really nice. I'm glad to hear you had a good time with them. Thanks so much for the info!

Re: Venue Showdown
They're both nice. I dreamed of East Wind, but it's just way too far for my guests to travel. Fox Hollow and East Wind are really far apart, so I'd just say to consider your ceremony location, etc

for oct 2012 fox hollow was around 89 a person, but i say go for it if you can. all the places I looked for in oct were around that price. so decided march instead around 20 dollars cheaper a person

Re: Venue Showdown
Fox Hollow! I'm biased being a soon to be fox hollow bride but the Somerley is beautiful. It was the only place we saw. They gave us the best deal for our money and we canceled all the other places
