Does anyone recommend a venue close to the Sayville area? I just got engaged and boy am I overwhelmed. Help would truly be appreciated. I would love Lands End, but do not know anyone who had a wedding their.

Land's End really is pretty. It's nice to watch the boats there. I've heard that they have great weddings.

Re: Venue suggestions
I've been to 2 weddings at Lands End. It's beautiful and the food was really good. They were both summer weddings so the cocktail hour was outside which was really nice, but at one of the weddings, it was a little too hot - it was one of those 98 degree summer days!
I have no idea about their prices though.

We're doing Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst and I have never heard anything negative about them ever. That may be near Sayville. My Long Island geography is horrible, especially considering I've lived here most of my life. It's right on teh Great South Bay.

Re: Venue suggestions
I got married at LE and it was awesome. They are so attentive and the food is sooooooo good (and DH and I are so picky about our food lol). The bridal attendant even washed my feet and the bottom of my dress when we came in from taking pics on the beach! Feel free to FM me for more details if you want to!!! Also a few pics in my album if you want to look!!

Re: Venue suggestions
Thanks everyone! My Grandfather always wanted me to get married at Land's End. He unfortunately passed away on New Years Day. I visited the site on Sunday and booked Monday Morning. It is sooooo beautiful.

Congrats on booking Land's End! We absolutely fell in love when we went to see it, now I can't imagine having the wedding anywhere else!
I'm so sorry about your grandpa... you have my sincere condolences. It will be nice to have his wishes incorporated into your day, I am getting married at my grandpa's church for the same reason. He will be there to bless your special day!!
