Venue Suggestions

Hi ladies :) Newly engaged here!

I am looking for a wedding reception location. I know I want a Saturday night wedding in the months of December 2012, January 2013 or March 2013. We are going to be having from 100-120 guests at the wedding, so I need a venue that can accommodate my intimate affair. We are looking for a place in Nassau county and want to stay within $100pp including tax and gratuity.

soooo I ask, any suggestions?!I would love to hear what you girls think.

I'd say Fox Hollow, Swan Club - they can accommodate that number. The Riviera was around that number for a minimum, I Think it was 120 in the winter months and the price pp is under 100.
I booked Westbury Manor and they can fit 120 - 130 in my room but my minimum is only 84 and in the winter I think the price is around what you are looking for!

Congrats. I would say Westbury Manor since that's my venue of choice so I have to admit I'm biased. But I also love Fox Hollow, I think it would be gorgeous especially for a winter wedding because they have a cabin style ambiance and their winter garden room is amazing! They book that room pretty fast though... Good luck

since you want your wedding off season i think you will pretty much luck our anywhere you look price wise. there is a 30-50$ difference per person when you look into winter months instead of fall or spring.

looking at halls is almost as fun as looking at dresses, everyone is sucking up to you and giving you stuff to eat or drink. just go out and have fun looking every where you can

i personally liked Crest Hollow the best, but i had a like of almost 10 that i wanted to see. and others that i knew i would never be able to afford but just wanted to go look at for the heck of it lol

I have been looking for the right place. We think we may have found one.... hoping to be booked by next weekend. Will update you after. If it falls through I will definitely check out your other suggestions.

I loved Westbury Manor, Floral Terrace, & my sister & best friend are both getting married at Chateau Briand!
