Venue's near Lake George, NY?

Anyone know any wedding venues in Upstate NY as close to Lake George as possible? My poor friend and her fiance were just told her wedding date for next year that they had a deposit on, etc, is actually the place's big yearly golf tournament and there are no other available dates.

She can't afford The Sagamore and wanted Top of the World (the one who's having the gold tourney) She hasn't heard back from Silver Bay (they're holding a date but very unresponsive so we're not going that route.)

Just figured I'd ask in case anyone happens to be familiar with that area. Thanks ladies :)

the only place i am familiar w is the sagamore... tell her to try around bolton landing, which is the town at the end of the lake... or ask those places, maybe they can reccomend another location
