I have a friend who is getting engaged shortly and is VERY anal and wants to start looking for venues in advance....She will be paying for the wedding herself and was very interested in venues on the water....Can anyone FM with pricing for summer months up until September? TIA

The Riviera is right on the water and very beautiful! For a Saturday night in July 2011 it was 98pp++, which turns out to be about 125 including everything. They are really great to work with there too
Agreed!!!

Here are some prices I received:
Thatched Cottage: $56p/p including ceremony, cake, centerpieces (might be more stuff, I don't have my list with me). They are having a special.
Miller Beach Surf club: 37 p/p includes, sit down for either Friday/Sunday. Includes cake and alcohol. $400 for ceremony on site.
Brigdgeview Yacht club: Friday/Sunday $50 p/p (day time) **you have to call them 6 months in advance to book your reception** ( I wouldn't go with them if I were her)
Landsend is expensive, $105-$175 p/p plus a ceremony fee of $750.
San Souci seems to be good also, but I wasn't quoted but do have an appointment for June to meet with someone.
As I search, I will update.
That Bridgeview quote cant be right it will not be that low for a Friday/Saturday in the summer. I am having my wedding there on a Friday night in the April.
I was quoted $50 p/p day time wedding either on a Friday or Sunday. I had told the woman I was looking for April-June of 2013. We still have not set an official date for a wedding, but I was thinking of then. So the price quote I received was based on 100 people. I did not like how she told me to call her 6 months in advance to see if she has availability. But that is the true quote I received. It was probably because of the day time aspect.

I'm the anal friend she is referring to! lol
Thanks for everyone's input! I can't wait to start looking at Halls and become a part of the LIW madness. I've been reading the board for months, for real.
