Re: Vera Wang Sample Sale
Thanks. I haven't gotten my dress yet and since I live in the city i will def try and go. I'm sure it is a total mad house so I will have to get the girls and we will have to spread out around the place to cover as much ground. Should be interesting.

Thank you so much for the info. Although I was planning to wait a few months to go, this might be one I can not pass up!

Re: Vera Wang Sample Sale
It WAS a total mad house....they only let a certain amount of girls in at a time so to be in the front of the line is KEY!!!We were about the third or fourth group to go in and while we were waiting, the first girl who came back out - dress in hand - everyone clapped and cheered!!! It was neat....
Good Luck!!!!

Re: Vera Wang Sample Sale
She usually has 2 sample sales per year. One in April and in the past in September (but this year they delayed it). You can sign up at Dailycandy.com which sends out email newsletters on sample sales and other current events - but their notice only came out today, I've also seen listed in New York Magazine. You can also call Vera's salon like a month before April/September and ask if they've set the date for her sale.

Re: Vera Wang Sample Sale
You are probably all picturing the Friends episode where they rush in and all have the wistles to keep track of eachother. LOL Sage indicated that the line starts early so i figured I would get them all there and ready. I'm sure I won't find anything but it will at least be a story I can tell. My FH laughed just hearing about it.

Re: Vera Wang Sample Sale
Yes, you can try on stuff and I have to say - it is pretty oragnized for what you think it might end up like....probably b/c they only let in a certain amount of people in at a time. When I went last year, there were a TON of dresses and I am sure you can find something.
Note though that they have been tried on and tried on - they are 'samples' so you will have to swallow the cost of alterations AND cleaning....
But all in all my friend could not have been happier with her $850 Vera Wang....
It was GORGEOUS!!!
