I was thinking of checking out both based on the great reviews from this site.The pictures I've seen from both look great.
Which one do you think offers the better deal price wise?

We got quotes from both places. Burton's price was slightly lower (just over $100 less), but Jen from Verbena really spent a lot of time with us. She went over details, was extremely pleasant, and made us feel like she would be taking great care in our event. We didn't really get the same feel from Burtons, and decided the slightly higher price was worth it.

We are using Burtons. We were there this past Saturday to pick out my bouquets, centerpieces, etc. and they were great. They had centerpieces for other weddings that were going out that same day, and they were HUGE and beautiful. So far, we are very happy.

I also looked at the both and Burton's was only 100 cheaper. Like the poster above said, Jen spent alot of time with us and is VERY detail oriented. She asked me questions I hadn't thought about and sent an itemized and very detailed proposal, even including pictures of the flowers that will be used. She also does one wedding a day. Needless to say, we chose Verbena.

I absolutely loooooove jen from verbena.. plus she only does 1 wedding at a time so the personal touch meant a little more to me then the cheaper price.. she is amazing and I never ever heard a bad review or anything about her.. I highly recommend her.. she is by far my favorite vendor and the only one I never second guessed!:)

Jen quoted me WAYYYY higher than Burtons. Plus its charged by kind of flower so if your tastes change before your wedding, your quote might be totally different.
At Burtons you get a quote based on what you need (20 CP, 8 Bo-k, etc.)--it doesn't matter what kind of flowers are involved.
Both do great work!! I just know I am fickle so went with Burton's.

I went with Burton's. Their prices were great and the people there were very friendly and helpful. Plus I got my dress upstairs so it was like one stop shopping

I had met with Burton's when I was looking for a florist and they were going to give me a better deal. I went with Verbena, though, b/c I thought Jen had gotten my vision a LOT better than the person I met with at Burton's. I wound up loving my bouquets and disliking my cp's very much. But overall, for me, Burton's was going to be more inexpensive.
