I am getting really fed up with Verizon. I have the biggest piece of s*it phone ever. I have the env2 and I have never had more problems with a phone in my life. I am on my third env2 and Verizon will not switch my phone, I have to wait until May 31st for an early upgrade which I think is absolutely ridiculous. Their customer service has been terrible and they give me so much aggravation. I have been a Verizon customer for about 10 years and I am just done now. FH and I are just ready to switch carriers and pay the cancellation fee. Does anyone have AT&T? How is it? We are thinking of switching over and doing a family plan.

Re: Verizon Vent
when you call customer service ask to speak to a supervisor or manager asap, if they ask why say because you're having serious issues and you want someone in charge to speak to.
Make sure to be firm with them. I usually get what I want from Verizon by being pushy and talking to a higher authority. Don't bother with their cs reps they just follow protocol and won't go above what they are told to do to assist you.
Good Luck...and btw, my brother had switched to AT&T and within a week went back to verizon bc he didn't like it at all.

I have been speaking to managers. Their regular sales people get me so aggravated that by the time I speak to a manager I'm so mad. They really will do nothing for me and it seriously pisses me off. I'm glad you mentioned that about AT&T, maybe if I keep on calling me they will let me get a different phone. I don't need a top of the line phone just anything that will be better than the piece of crap env2.

Re: Verizon Vent
ugh that is so frustrating. Just a heads up, when my bro cancelled with verizon to go to At&t they did charge him a cancellation fee but what was crazy is that when he went back to verizon they refunded him the cancellation fee, gave him a phone upgrade plus one month of free service.
Mention this to them, say why is it that when people cancel and come back they are treated better than an actual customer just asking for some assistance. That tactic might work. if it doesnt, cancel and try at&t for a couple of weeks and then go back to verizon -- it's a little bit of a pain in the a$$ but apparently it works in getting a new phone

Where do you live? If you live out East go to Shoreham Wireless right on 25A. My brother in law owns it- it's a Verizon Store. He will help you if you want to go- I'll call him and give him a heads up if you want.

I would try to file a complaint with the FCC. I did this when I had a problem with Sprint. They take these complaints VERY seriously (both the FCC and Spring followed up with several letters and phone calls) and I got my cancellation fee waived. Link to file FCC complaint

Re: Verizon Vent
I am so sorry... I have to say I havent had any problems with Verizon.. I have been with them for like 6 years... The only time I had an issue was with the battery.. And since the battery is never covered (only with the first one year warranty) I had to get another one...but I ended up getting a different phone since it cost the same.. I was just at the Verizon store on Sat and got the BB storm... And FH switched from AT&T and they were so helpful, they switched his number cancelled his account.. Did everything! It must be who you are dealing with... Verizon really does have the best service though, IMO

Re: Verizon Vent
Honestly dealing with cellphone companies are the worst.. I HATE calling and trying to get things done with them.. Sometimes its just best to wear it out and think about switching because disconnection fees are ridiculous.. Good Luck..
