Very frustrated with BM, what should I do??? She WON'T GIVE ME HER MEASUREMENTS!
I had a thread along these lines about 1 month ago...and I still have the same problem.
All of my BMs gave me their measurements about a month ago...and there is this one who keeps making excuses!!!
She lives out of state, as do all my BMs. I've called her a few times, emailes her a lot...explained to her that I NEED to get all the dresses ordered at the same time to get the discount and have the dye lot be the same...
She keeps putting me off...she sent me an email apologizing, saying she wants to loose weight (she wasn't ever heavy, but I'm thinking maybe she gained a lot of weight...she was always VERY competitive with all of the other BMs and myself back in college)...
In the email she said, 'here are the measurments', and didn't include them....then I called her and she said she'd have them to me first thing in the morning,..guess what, NO MEasurements!
I'm even afraid that she'll lie about them hoping to loose weight by the wedding.
WHAt SHOULD I DO? HELP!

Wow, sticky situation. I would call her one more time and tell her the call is going in the second you get off the phone with her. Then, if she won't give them to you, then there may be nothing you can do but cut her from the BP. I don't know, that sounds harsh, but I would give her one LAST chance and make sure she knows it's her last chance. Good Luck, I'm not sure if my advice helps, but hopefully it works out for the best.

You should say 'I have the BM dress place on the other line, what are your measurements I need them NOW'. Something along those lines to light a fire under her arse LOL

Just give her the number of the salon you're using and have her call the shop. This way no one will 'know' her measurements.

I would call her one last time and tell her you need her measurements. If she is uncomfortable giving them to you,give her the store's phone number & tell her she must call them asap. Tell her that you are running out of time and that they have to order the dresses now. If she still doesn't do it,then she will have to be out of the bridal party.

It sounds like she is playing head games. I would give her a hard deadline, and if she doesn't give you the measurements by then, she'll have to drop out of the bridal party... Its simple and may just do the trick

I am sorry I agree with Rachel and Jen.
When my MOH got married, one of her MOH had banked on losing weight. She insisted that she was going to lose weight and wanted the dress to be ordered a size or two smaller. Well she didn't and she looked like a stuffed sausage in the a casing 5 times too small. Tell her to give you what she has in the way that Jen or Rachel told you and that she will feel great if she loses weight between now and then and the dress is too big!

I am just such a wimp...but I am contemplating the ultimatium because this is getting way too stressful for me.

I'm ordering the dresses online, and am using my credit card...I wonder if there's a way for her to secretly provide her measurements like you all suggested.
