very interesting phone call today
today, some local high school students called me at my congregation to ask me to show them and explain to them the Ark (where the Torahs are kept).
They arent Jewish and want to see the difference between an altar in a church an a bimah in a synagogue.
I asked them if this is a school project and they said that they came up with this idea on their own.
I am so excited to meet with them on Tuesday!!
This will be my 1st experience teaching non-Jews about Judaism.
