Very Large Weddings

Original post by Ab12345

Hi Everyone, I'm new to the board and I love it!!! I think it is wonderful how everyone helps each other out with there big day. I recently got engaged and we are currently in the market for a hall. Problem is we would like to have a huge wedding for 400+people. Can anyone recommend places that can accomadate these people? Also at reasonable prices like 50-70pp. Any feedback would be great. Also for how long do the halls let you have the hall till?

Welcome! The Wyndham Golf Course in Happauge is very reasonable. I was at a wedding there Sat night and it was awesome! The room can hold over 600+

I am getting married at The Inn at East Wind too!
I only have 1/2 of the ballroom booked and that can accommodate 350...you have to see it when its the GRAND BALLROOM, its so beautiful. If you go to one of their showcases...next one Ocotber 2nd, you can really get a good idea of what it would look like for your wedding.

Leonard's will definately accomadate that much. That is where I am having my weddings.

Also, you can check out Grand Prospect Hall... they have a huge beautiful ballroom! Its a beautiful place if you get that big room. Its an old Opera house... I really liked it but I didn't have that much people and couldn't book the hall.

Actually, i'm looking more in Nassau, but also I can go to Suffolk. Being that I am having a minimum of 450 I'm not sure on how to negotiate with the halls. I know 450 is alot and I would like to have if possible no more than $50 p/p. I hope that these places can try to accommodate my needs.

Villa Lombardis can hold up to 700 plus or have to smaller rooms that can hold a little over 400ish.
