Very Rough Weekend

Re: Very Rough Weekend

Dorry you had such a rough day. Don't give up just yet. You became a teacher for a reason. Once you have your own class things will be different. Thankfully you did not get hurt when the air bags deployed. Maybe you can put the claim in with your insurance carrier - contact the municipality resposible for the man hole immediately. If not already done go and file a police report so you have back up re: man hole. It can be tough, but you can get money back from the municipality.

subbing is a ver difficult job...doesnt mean when you have your own room in the future that it will be that way!

ugh...sorry about it all...as for the whole sub situation...dont second guess it...i have been teaching middle school for 2 years now and love it...kids do tend to have a lot less respect for subs, and in no way am i condoning that, but it is VERY different in your own classroom when YOU are their teacher and you decide grades, etc...i promise

oh i am so sorry...i am a sub too an dit is not easy. I had some really tough classes. I actually one day, shut the lights shut the door and gave it to them. i screamed and yelled my head off. thank god the principal never came in. They were better after that for a little while but i know its a tough class. you just have to threaten them as mcuh as you can about leaving notes. Ever since that class i have leanred to set the rules straight before class starts. I love it now. I wanted to quit in the begining but i know now how i want to run my own classrooms. some teahcers just don't care and want to be the 'cool' teacher so they let them do whatever. don't give up, it is a great job and the classes will be better
