VERY UPSET

Yesterday i went for the first time to go brides maid dress looking and it was HORRIBLE. I went to a certain place in Commack and they were TERRIBLE! The women were rude and unhelpful and the dresses were falling apart. Some dresses didn't even have zippers or parts of the sleeve. Aren't they supposed to help you pin the dress??? Or help you choose better looks? I mean they spent more time on the phone and talking to themselves than helping us. And we got mean looks when we asked for a different dress. I was so upset. Hopefully all places are not like this

SORRY TO HEAR THAT,TRY BRIDAL SUITE IN CENTEREACH THEY ARE REALLY NICE AND HELPFUL THERE, AMY'S A SWEETHEART

I think I know where you mean. The girls are extremely rude! I walked out with my mom. Did you try Helens they were a lot nicer than the 'other place' its right up the road from them. Also I agree with GIGIBride- Centereach Bridal suite is a great place to go and I also reccomend Amy she is so sweet

I really needed to vent. I was very much looking forward to having a good time with the girls and it was sooo disappointing.
But i wrote another post about my BM problem i have two BM's that are over weight and it seems that it is very hard to find dresses for them to try on.
But the place in Centereach was on my list to see.
i was also told David's Bridal has plus sizes.

Not every place is like that.. they have those kinds of places in every town but you will also find places that are very friendly and willing to help and go out of their way for you.... Keep looking and you will find a place that will treat you better than that!! Sorry that your first experience was a bad one

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience but I am glad to hear good things about the Bridal Suite in Centereach. I am going there next week for my mother's dress.

I know exactly how you feel! I was almost in tears at a few places I went to. Try Macy's Bridal in the Smithaven mall. They were absolutely fabulous. They literally treat you like a princess there, which is exactly the way that you should be treated. Don't settle for less. Good luck!
