So far he has let me down big time... First I hated our engagement pictures, then we ended up ordering two 8x10's of the the epictures (that i hated) for our parents.. that was over 2 months ago and they have not got them in yet (as of last week) and i keep calling them and noone has been picking up for a week now. UGH.

Yes.. I don't know what to do. I don't know how much money we would lose if I decided to cancel with him.. we already paid 1/3.
I am going to meet and speak with him about what i expect and the style of pictures i like etc but now i just have a bad taste in my mouth. The epcis I can look past, they weren't my favorite but I know his work is good...fine.. but the fact that its take over 2 months to get 2 pictures is insane... am i going to wait a year to get my wedding pictures back if thats the case??

I would be concerned and consider looking into another photographer- you have time!
It sounds as though his work is good, but not what you want and you should LOVE your photos. 2 months is way too long.

If you're that unhappy, I would change photographers. I had to do it and it was a very very hard decision and we lost money but in the end I know it was the right one

Absolutely agree. It would be easier if they answered the phone so I could make an appointment but now im just going to stop by tomorrow to let him know what i expect etc.. otherwise I just might have to look elsewhere.

I would make one last attempt to speak to them and then try to get my money back. If that does not work out then I would cut my losses and look elsewhere. You still have time and you should trust your gut instincts.

Honestly- I know it's easier said than done but if I were you I would swallow the loss and go find a photographer you can rely and trust,
In my experiences so far with my photographer- she has done everything she can for me. If I write her an email that is a once sentence question she replies- the same day. I think that is the way it should be.
You are spending so much time and energy on planning your day to be perfect but, in the end all you have is your photos and video.
If you already have a bad taste in your mouth then I suggest exploring other options with another photographer. Goodness forbid he plays the same games with you with your wedding photos.
All in all- the 1/3 loss is nothing in comparison to the loss you may have if he doesn't do his job right.
