Anyone have their hotel block at the viana hotel? Looking to see if people enjoyed working with them reviews etc.

i have my block there but its a while til my wedding, ive heard great reviews about their rooms and service.

I agree that it's in a weird location. Not much in the area for OOT.

And I also did not like the person I dealt with.

The suite is beautiful tho. The bar closes early on sunday and there is no breakfast included.

We went with Hyatt place in garden city. very good experience with them

I stayed on a suite the night before my wedding, however I didnt need hotel block. I enjoyed the stay. The hotel itself is beautiful.

We stayed at he Viana the night we got engaged and had an amazing experiance! They went as far as making sure FH had a charger for our camera that he forgot 2 towns away. I have booked our block w them as well. we have 60 rooms blocked with a guarentee of half of them for the night or the wedding and 25% the night before the wedding. We have guests coming in from all over the country, so it was essential to us that this be taken care of quickly. We have had guests book their rooms and the customer service has been great so far.

There is an option to buy the bar, hwich means they will ealve hte bar open later for you and your guests, it was a minimal cost and something you can either opt for or not.

The on site spa offers great services and they have a romance package as well. I would say look into them. My wedding might be different then the previous reveiw b/c we need so many rooms, but most of the other hotels will not block that many rooms up front and we are gambling with not having enough rooms in the same place for our guests.

STOP IT!!! Me too!!

It's beautiful! The suites are gorgeous! Nothing else that I visited compared to it. I worked with Terrence to book and he was great!

We used them for our block and LOVED them. They were so sweet and accommodating. The spa, and the director Stephanie, are awesome. The rooms are great, the breakfast (not included) was good too. We didn't keep the bar open late but they still let it run a little long since my people were having a blast. They have a great game room. The person we worked with, Rita, isn't there anymore but the day of I worked with Zack and he was on top of his game. We had nothing but compliments from everyone who stayed. I can't say enough great things about them!

Their restaurant, though small, is really good. They have these Chicken Francese egg rolls that are out of this world.

The location is fine. Its near 2 highways. We looked at a lot of hotels and I liked that it wasn't on a congested main road. Plus they have a Carvel next door :)
Your OOT guests can get anywhere they need to easily.

I went and looked at it and wasnt so impressed, i was not a fan of Zachary either. He was so excited to show us the tv ib the mirror in the bathroom, he turns it on having us watch like its going to be like a 32' tv and its like 5' in the bottom corner lol. FH n i started laughing. We ended up booking our hotel block at the hyatt place in garden city

I booked there!! I'm getting ready at the hotel the day of the wedding and I love the look of the hotel and the bridal suite..

I can not lie this thread scared the crap out of me so I called Terence and he calmed all my fears. I was asked to guarantee half of my guarantee the night the night before f the wedding bc of how large a block we need but it will not be a problem bc most of fh family will be in for 2 days. Just an FYI ladies when we were faced w looking at other hotels most wouldn't let us book more then 15 to 20 rooms at a time so you risk going over ur block and not having enough rooms. Good luck!

I already have a block at the Hampton Inn in Westbury which includes shuttles and bfast...

but I am in the process of booking with Viana as well. I will be staying there the night before and night of my wedding. I met with Terence and visited the hotel. In my opinion is is a very pretty hotel. It has a Feng Shui design. I went there last week with my mom and she liked it too! Just need to call and book They offered to keep the bar open until 4am (with a charge of course) and I can give bfast vouchers to my OOT's (with a charge as well)
