Video

For those who are not sure whether or not to get it...Well yesterday we got the video to our e-party, and I am sooo glad Fh's mom surprised us with video. It was sooo great watching it and reliving it. I mean after its kinda sad its over, you do have pics and memories, but to be able to watch everything that happened was amazing.

There were things i got to see that I didn't know happened bc i was busy elsewhere, so i loved that part. Then i remember my MOH's speech and speech Fh gave after but to remember word for word is hard, and to hear it all over again was amazing.

FH and i laughed so much at so many things, got to see things we missed out on, and relive other moments we did share.

Now i definitely know i want video for the wedding, when its over i definitely want more than pictures to remember it by or memories.

I have been questioning the video I think FH is totally agianst it but I too watched my cousin's video with her and it was great to relive it., all we did was laugh

at first I didn't want video at all (i cannot deal with watching myself lol) but, after seeing some videos of other weddings... it seems silly not to spend the money on it. i want to be able to watch, laugh and remember every detail. pictures just aren't the same as seeing it in action.

thanks for the advice! my FH and i were unsure about a video. my family says it's not necessary and so does FH but I think i really want to get video. i want to be able to remember the wedding because i know i'm going to be a mess on the wedding day and won't remember anything. thanks!

I know i was so surprised and touched, it was a great surprise.

I know exactly, its great to relive the actual moments that happened and actually get to see the thing you missed bc honestly sooooooo much is going on, your head will be spinning you wont know alot of things that went on

yeah plus theres no way you will be able to see everything that happens, you have to talk to guests, thank them for coming making your rounds around the tables...Its hard to be a part of everything that happens

yeah plus its seeing it in a different view...like us dancing together, yes we know what it was like to be out there on the dancefloor dancing but to see it, see our own faces, and actually be able to see what it looked like was great

Video is the best thing to get. You can get it on DVD and watch it for the rest of your life and share it with loved ones. It is sooo worth it to put a little extra money towards video. Video captures sooo many things that you missed during your wedding so it will be nice to see what was going on when you were doing something else

Yeah i have the dvd of it not actual videotape.

I just watched it again, well half of it bc my mom and her friend were watching it so decided to go look again-I LOOOOVE IT!!!!!!!

oh well lol changed my mind on both - i HATE the way i look on videos and i always get SO self conscious when i know i am on camera. . .but you know what? on my wedding day everyone will be looking at us anyway so one extra camera isnt going to make a difference

i think i just dont like when i am just standing there watching the bride and groom and the video catches me . . i feel like i should be doing something instead of just standing there like duuuuuh! lol

Alot of people get weird watching themselves...Fh felt real weird at first especially when he was dancing since it was his first time watching himself dance, although he did comment on what a great dancer he is lol, but he did get awkward watching it and shy lol.

You will be fine, dont worry you honestly dont even notice the camera...It was right next to us on the dancefloor but i dont remember it being next to me or even paying attention to it.
