Video Help!! Need Quickly....Sunday is almost here
I have decided today (yes, 3 days before the wedding) that I want a video -- but I need someone truly unintrusive. I have a quote from Candlelite Video and I know it is too late to be picky, but I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what they are paying for 6 hrs. plus 1 hour before at reception. They tell me they are giving me a 'bargain' because it is so late but I don't think the price is so hot....
THanks ---

We met with them...liked their work and our friends used them. We ended up going with someone else though.

First of all let me say CONGRATS on getting the video -- you are definitely doing the right thing!! Sooo many brides have said on here that they regretted not getting a video!!
I would love to recommend Bliss but they are a little pricey... maybe try Lavendar Bridal Studio in Massapequa (I think)... I believe I am paying around $1200 for video... maybe less... that's for the whole day... you should be paying less than that for only 6 hrs of coverage....

I would say that yes -- $1300 for only 6 hours is a bit much!! Especially since you are booking last minute... they should be thanking you for giving them business at this point!
Why don't you go over and post on the vendor board -- I am almost positive you can get video for less than that!!
Good luck!!

I haven't started looking yet but I found this thread that discusses how much videography was:

Excellent -- I feel OK about this now. THank you so much. We are getting the 'Bijoux' style, which is more journalistic in style and pricier than their other options so, I am happy now that the price is not out of the ballpark. Thanks!!
